A path into the stillness of the heart

Encounters with people and landscapes that are close to their origins,
as they were long forgotten by the great history of the world
and were thus able to preserve their secrets

For the first time on the Trans-Siberian Railway from Ulaanbaatar to Sainshand

I have been organizing trips to places of power all over the world for 30 years. Mongolia is calling once again. A country shaped by nature, endless expanses, blue mountains and desert, often still timeless. A country shaped by wind and sun, heat and cold.

A highlight is the journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway to Sainshand in the south-east of the country.

The Khamriin Khiid monastery there is an energy center that is said to be connected to the 21 light centers of Shambhala.

Shambhala is a mystical place in the spiritual world that is mentioned in various spiritual traditions, including Tibetan Buddhism. In some Buddhist traditions, Shambhala is interpreted as a place of wisdom and inner peace.

We spend three days in this magical place and listen to the stillness of our hearts.

The white and red cliffs are impressive. The red one is also called the "flaming cliff". This place also has an important paleontological significance. The dinosaur finds provided insights into the prehistoric world of the Gobi.

Another highlight is the "singing dune". This sand dune stretches over 180 km and reaches a height of up to 400 m.

Yoliin Am, the vulture's mouth in the Gobi Gurvan National Park, was very moving for me. A magical gorge with unique geological formations.

This is the first trip in 25 years in which we linger in places of power and have time to be. We travel in Japanese, air-conditioned off-road vehicles and stay overnight in hotels and yurt camps.
